Here is another robot kit that can teach your kids a thing or two about coding. The SunFounder PiSloth uses Raspberry Pi as its brain. It comes with a Robot HAT, ultrasonic sensor, and servos to dance, follow objects, and avoid obstacles. It has 4 movable joints, so it can perform moves fairly smoothly.

The PiSloth can be programmed with a graphical user interface but more advanced students can customize it with Python. the ezblock Studio software is available for iOS, Android, and Windows platforms.
