Meet the Robobo bot: an educational robot that combines with your smartphone to teach your kids coding. It has a base as body while your smartphone acts as the brain. The robot uses your phone’s gyroscope, magnetometer, accelerometer, and other tech to perform simple and complex tasks.
Robobo is ready for visual programming. It can be programmed to detect sounds, recognize face, and connect to the Internet to grab information. While you can get started with Scratch, advanced programming through ROS is also supported. The developer version is expected to ship in May.
