Plantoid Robot Uses a Living Plant As Its Brain

In the past few years, we have covered a bunch of robots that can teach your kids how to code. The Plantoid Robot – Tenax Kit goes a step further. It is a robot that uses sensors to collect data from a living plant and use them to move around. Tenax autonomously explores its environment to find the best location to keep the plant alive.

The robot can be controlled via a smartphone app. The kit comes with MQ gas and AQ, and ultrasonic sensors. It is based on Arduino Nano.
