Plenty of companies are working on home robots. Panasonic’s companion robot has WiFi and a projector that looks like an egg shell but moves on wheels to project videos on your walls. The robot has a 8 MP camera and 5 infrared sensors. It has 4 motors to power the wheels. Its neck is driven by 3 servo motors.

The robot is powered by an 1.2 GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 running UNIX. It is expected to have WiFi and Bluetooth.
