In the past few years, we have covered plenty of robots that can make life easier for people with disabilities and mobility issues. CareLin2 is a 6-axis robot arm mounted on a wheelchair or bed that can handle a mobile phone, cup, and everything in between. It can be controlled with a smartphone.

People with upper limb disability can control the robot with speech recognition or a stick mouse. The above video from NT Robot shows this smartphone controlled wheelchair robot arm in action.
