Everytime we get ready to write off the white iPhone, a new rumor about it surfaces. The product has been delayed multiple times. Many experts expected Verizon to offer this phone. While that did not happen, there still seems to be a bit of hope left, if the rumors are true. As reported by Engadget, white iPhone has made it to Vodafone Germany’s inventory system. There are multiple ways to interpret this. Maybe these guys are being too optimistic. Considering that iPhone 5 is just around the corner, it is not clear when Vodafone expects to start offering white iPhones.

MacRumors’ story seems to have more legs. The below screenshot leaked to the site shows Best Buy’s plans to offer a white iPhone. Apparently, the product will go on sale starting February 27th. The SKU and model numbers in the leaked photo do suggest it to credible.
There was a lot of excitement for white iPhones a few months ago. Chances are consumers are tired of waiting for a device that may never make it to the market. At least Apple has gotten its wireless contract right this time around:
