iPhone users can already use their device to keep track of their workouts and improve their performance. We have already covered plenty of fitness accessories and cycling GPS apps here. The Wahoo KICKR iPhone Power Trainer offers more though. It is an exciting bike training system that uses Bluetooth 4.0 to link with your iPhone. It is also compatible with other ANT+ bike computers.
The KICKR can change resistance when paired with third-party iOS apps such as Kinomap Trainer. The system is developed to provide riders with a more realistic experience. It will be available in the U.S. starting November 2012. The price is not known at this point but we don’t expect such a sophisticated system to go for cheap.
ZAGG is a well known brand among iPhone and iPad users. It is behind some cool accessories for iDevices. The company has unveiled two new iPad keyboards at IFA 2012, one of which comes with color-changing backlight. The ZAGGkeys PRO and ZAGGkeys PRO Plus attach to the iPad magnetically. They keep its screen protected from surface damage. These are both Bluetooth products and have special keys to make using iPad tablets easier. The PRO Plus model has built-in backlight for typing in low light with 8 color settings.
The ZAGGkeys PRO will run for up to 6 months per one charge whereas the PRO Plus version will go for only a few weeks. These will cost $99 and $129 respectively.
