Many folks use their iPhone to get more out of their outdoor experiences. The App Store has plenty of awesome cycling, hiking, running, camping, and outdoor GPS apps. Those of you who go bike riding on a regular basis probably have certain routes that you enjoy the most. Your phone can easily track your favorite routes. This project aims to turn your favorite routes into good looking sculptures.
These sculptures are machined in North America from aluminum and polyethylene composite panels. If you have a GPS enabled phone, you will be able to record your route and export it for upload to tracksedge.com. You could also draw your route on Google Maps. Once you have uploaded your route, you can select the style, size, color, and display options to personalize your canvas or sculpture.
Turning your favorite route into a beautiful sculpture can be a lot of fun. These sculptures would make a great gift for folks who spend a lot of time exploring the outdoors. This unique idea is currently getting funded on Kickstarter.
