0Steve Jobs may be gone but not forgotten. Under his leadership, Apple managed to tun around its fortunes and become of one of the most valuable companies in the tech world. Mr. Jobs was struggling in his last days but he had the chance to work closely on the redesigned iPhone before his death in October. At least that is what Bloomberg is reporting at this point.
It has been a while since Apple changed the iPhone’s design dramatically. The iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S have many similarities on the surface. But just like many other smartphone makers, Apple seems ready to introduce a 4 inch smartphone. iPhone fans have to wait till September or October to get their hands on one of these devices though.
In addition to the larger screen, the next iPhone could be compatible with the new wireless networks by AT&T and Verizon. It will have a faster processor and decent battery life. In the meantime, Apple has gain control of iPhone5.com domain. We highly doubt that Apple will use the domain to promote the iPhone 5 directly. But it is a sign that the company is getting more active when it comes to protecting its trademarks.
