Speaking of the iPad mini, it seems Apple had planned for the iPad mini to have a second microphone. We heard rumors about it before the announcement event. Sonny Dickson has now published a photo that shows an iPad mini shell with an extra hole in the top-middle section. It seems Apple had a change of plans and decided to save this for the future.
At this point, we don’t know the exact Apple decided not to include that second microphone in the final iPad mini design. The decision did not keep millions of people from buying these tiny tablets though.
