Our smartphones are going to become flexible in the future. In fact, Researchers at Queen’s University’s Human Media Lab have already developed the world’s first full-color, high-resolution smartphone with a multitouch interface. It allows you to flip through pages by bending the phone in either direction. The phone vibrates to give you the sensation of the pages moving through your fingertips.
ReFlex has a 720p LG OLED touchscreen display and an Android 4.4. board. It has bend sensors to sense the force with which the screen is bent. According to Dr. Vertegaal, we will have to wait 5 years to get our hands on flexible smartphones though.
