Nest Announces iPhone-Controlled Thermostat

Nest is bringing a networked thermostat, Nest Learning Thermostat, to the market to give users the ability to control it more conveniently.

Users can program it and change its behavior. This thermostat lowers your energy consumption when you are away from your home (Auto Away feature). Nest Learning Thermostat has a bright display that turns red or blue for heating and cooling systems.

Nest also lets you watch your energy consumption on your devices. Nest is expected to be compatible with both iOS and Android devices. This looks quite sleek and has the potential to save its users a considerable amount of money.
