Microsoft Smartwatch iOS/Android Compatible, iPhone 6 Photo
0Everyone is making a smartwatch or planning to. Motorola, LG, Samsung, and Apple are just a few companies that will be players in this market. Microsoft is planning to join them by introducing a smartwatch that will be compatible with iOS and Android devices. As Forbes has reported, Microsoft has been working on this project for over a year now. The device will have a bevy of sensors and serve as a heart rate monitor.
At this point, we are not sure when exactly this smartwatch will be released (it could be as early as this summer). But it’s nice to see that it will work with iPhones, Windows phones, and Android handsets. Apparently, Microsoft is using Kinect engineering to make the smartwach. How successful Microsoft will be in this market is anybody’s guess.
Speaking of new products, we know Apple is going to release a larger iPhone later this year. The latest hardware leak from Macfixit shows what seems to be the back of the iPhone 6. As you can see, the shell does have an Apple logo cutout. The iPhone 6 is expected to be released in two models, with the 4.7″ model debuting first. The device will have an A8 processor inside and other improved hardware.
