Microsoft’s cloud service, SkyDrive, has come to the iOS platform. The company has just released SkyDrive for iPhone that will let you save and share files and documents on Microsoft’s cloud service. Using this service, you can access, manage, and distribute files across your devices. The app can handle notes, photos, documents, and videos.
SkyDrive does offer its user a good amount of free storage (25 GB at the time of this writing). The app is available for Windows Phone devices in addition to iPhones. Users can access their files on their handheld device, create folders, manipulate files, and do much more. SkyDrive shows you recently used documents and lets you share links to your files easily.
SkyDrive is available in 32 languages worldwide. With Microsoft bringing OneNote to iOS and the release of SkyDrive, it seems the company is stepping up its game for this platform. There are simply too many iOS users for Microsoft to ignore at this point.
