Those of you who enjoy taking photographs in different settings know how useful light meters can be. We have already covered applications you can use to turn your iPhone into a light meter. Lumu happens to be a compact accessory that offers more accurate measurements. It is currently being funded on Kickstarter.
Lumu plugs into the headphone jack of your phone and has its own companion app to help you make sense of its data. It offers a measuring range of 0.15 – 250,000 lux. The app lets you save all the data about the moment you shoot, including location, photo parameters, and more. Since the Lumu measures incident light, it is more accurate. The package costs you $99 at this time.
Speaking of cool products, meet the BOLT backup battery for smartphones. It not only provides power for your gadgets but also has a built-in wall charger. This has enough juice for up to two full iPhone or Android phone charges. Bolt has a 3000 mAh rechargeable battery inside. It looks fairly compact too.
Bolt has a built-in wall charger that allows you to charge the internal battery with ease. It will be available in two colors at first. With a funding goal of $44000, Bolt might soon get fully funded on Kickstarter.
