Apple has already excited many of us with HomeKit and HealthKit. It is going to allow more companies to make their exciting products compatible with Apple devices. But many folks still want to get their hands on the iWatch. When are we going to see the watch? Analyst Brian White for Cantor Fitzgerald is suggesting that the production of Apple iWatch components will start this month. That confirms that a September release for the iWatch is not unreasonable.
It is not clear how much the iWatch will cost, but rumor has it that the device will have a circular face. More importantly, it will be a health tracker with a variety of sensors. You are not going to see Apple confirm or deny any of these rumors.
Speaking of iOS 8, Apple announced many of its new features at WWDC. But many of its new features did not get the attention they deserve while some were simply not announced. For instance, did you know that Safari in iOS 8 allows users to scan credit cards with their device’s camera instead of typing numbers to make a purchase online? Safari automatically detects when a credit card is being requested and takes care of the rest. iOS 8 has plenty of other features we are going to find out about in the next few weeks.
