The iPhone 6 is going to be released by Apple in a couple of months. The device is expected to have a faster processor, better camera, and a larger display. The latest rumor suggests the device could have a new haptic feedback technology that will allow the user to get vibratory feedback based on apps being used. Considering that Apple already has various patents related to haptic technology, this would not surprise us.
Of course, this is just a rumor at this point. Chinese mobile phone information site Laoyaoba is behind this story (via GforGames). We will have wait a couple of months to find out whether this is true.
Speaking of the iPhone 6, we already know that sapphire glass displays can be quite tough. Knife and key tests of what purports to be iPhone 6’s front-glass are already on the Internet. The above video shows that very same glass treated to a stress test. As you can see, it seems iPhone 6’s display will be much harder to damage even if you mistreat it. Will you still need a screen protector for such a device? That’s a good question.
