Today is going to be a very big day for Apple and its fans. Apple is expected to announce a whole host of products, including the iPhone 6 and iWatch. We have already seen all kinds of iPhone 6 leaks (video, images, …). The same folks who posted a video of the next iPhone have also posted the results of benchmarking tests they have run on the phone.
The results, which were published on Weibo, suggest the iPhone 6 will pack 1 GB of RAM and a 1.4 GHz ARM processor. This does not sound like a huge upgrade over the previous iPhone. Of course, the iPhone that Apple will reveal later today could have better components inside, so stay tuned.
Speaking of new products, the iWatch has excited many folks, but we have not seen video leaks of the device yet. According to Reddit user OwenCarlyle, the iWatch will have a Mic, Speaker, and Siri. It will feature a flexible multi-touch screen and a waterproof design. The battery life is expected to be ore than a day but not a whole lot more (see pictures here).
BGR is reporting that the watch will offer PayPal support among other things. A lot of questions still remain about the iWatch though. It will be interesting to see how Samsung, Motorola, and LG will respond to the announcement later today.
