Apple is going to release the iPhone 6 some time this year. We have heard all kinds of rumors about the company’s plans. With Samsung and other players playing around with phablets, some experts have been speculating that Apple could get involved too. Apple has not suggested that it will release even larger iPhones in the future. But Peter Zigich, a Toronto-based 3D designer, has put together concepts that suggest what the upcoming iPhones could look like.
Peter Zigich suggests Apple should move iPhone 6’s home button to the side. That would leave more screen room. The change would not require Apple to change iPhone’s physical dimensions. The idea of having two Home Buttons is interesting but not something that Apple will pursue. The iPhone Mini will be a smaller, cheaper version of the iPhone. Peter’s concept only has a 3.5 inch screen though. The iPhone XL concept describes a device that will have an even larger display, allowing 1 extra row and 1 extra column of icons.
Apple has not announced anything about the next generation iPhone. Will we see an even bigger iPhone this time around? We will have to wait and see.
