Apple has tried very hard to keep its new devices secret but has failed to do so in the past. Considering all the rumors we have heard about the iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S in the past few months, Apple is going to have a very difficult time surprising us on September 10. Things are so bad that people are now posting scratch test videos for the upcoming iPhones on YouTube (not that we mind).
As the above video shows, your iPhone should be able to survive minor accidents well. But the gold iPhone 5S does look worse when it came to the knife test. Whether the iPhone shown in this video is real is another story.
Speaking of the new iPhone, Apple’s iPhone Reuse and Recycle trade-in program is expected to roll out starting August 30th. The program is for iPhone owners who would like to get a new iPhone at a discounted price. The program will apply to standard and business customers. Apple will provide customers with a discount based on the display quality and overall condition of their old phones. Rumor has it that the old iPhones will be recycled and used in this part of the world only. It goes without saying that you may be able to get a better deal for your old iPhones elsewhere.
