Those of us who have used Microsoft products in the past know too well about the blue screen of death issue. That’s not to say that other platforms do not crash. But Windows users are used to crashes and annoying Windows issues. iOS is not perfect but it never had the blue screen of death issue like Windows. Unfortunately, some iOS users are reporting that their phones get rebooted randomly following a BSOD. It seems app multitasking triggers these crashes most of the time.
Apple has not addressed this issue just yet. We have not experienced this on our iPhone. But many iPhone users are complaining about it in Apple’s support communities. Apple will surely address this issue in the very near future.
Speaking of the iPhone, it seems the demand for the iPhone 5c has not been as high as Apple expected. One can blame Apple’s pricing strategy for this. But the company will be happy to continue selling the iPhone 5s. The iPhone 5c may be colorful but it does not have the fast hardware components found in the iPhone 5s. The Chinese site C Technology is reporting that Apple will be halving its production of the iPhone 5c. The iPhone 5s is continuing to sell well though.
