iPhone 5s Battery Issue, iPad Air Benchmarks
0The iPhone 5s may be a fast and great phone but it is not flawless. In fact, Apple has acknowledged that some iPhone 5s units may be suffering from battery issues. According to the company, only a limited number of phones are affected:
We recently discovered a manufacturing issue affecting a very limited number of iPhone 5S devices that could cause the battery to take longer to charge or result in reduced battery life … We are reaching out to customers with affected phones and will provide them with a replacement phone.
Apple has not mentioned how many units were affected. Battery issues are nothing new to Apple fans. It will be interesting to see how limited this issue really is.
Speaking of Apple products, the iPad Air is finally getting some reviews online. Most reviews we have seen are very positive. There is a good reason for that. The device is fast and elegant. The new A7 processor makes a huge difference. Primate Labs explains that the iPad Air’s A7 runs faster the iPhone 5s’ A7 processor. The new iPad is over 80% faster than the previous generation iPad. The above chart published by Macotakara shows how the new iPad performs against previous iOS devices. By the look of it, Apple is going to sell a ton of these in the upcoming months.
