This approach is nothing new. Many accessory makers take this approach to get an edge over their competitors. Some of them even rely on rumors to design their cases. Speaking of new Apple devices, the iPad mini 2 will be released to the market in the next couple of months. We have already seen rumors about the iPad 5 being thinner and more compact than its predecessor. The iPad mini 2’s main feature is going to be its screen. Most experts believe Apple will release an iPad mini with a Retina display this year. We can’t confirm that. As the folks at Unbox Therapy show in the above video, the iPad mini 2 will most likely have an identical design to the previous model. The processor, cameras, and display are going to get an upgrade though.
