Apple had its fans waiting for quite a bit before it announced iPhone 4S a week ago. The device not only runs the next version of iOS, it also has a faster processor, better camera, improved battery life, and Siri. Not everyone has been impressed with iPhone 4S though. It seems the original iPhone 4 design was not good enough for some iPhone fans. Investors may have not been impressed with the iPhone announcement but they will be impressed with its sales numbers. According to Reuters, AT&T has managed to sell over 200k iPhone 4S units in the first 12 hours.
The demands for iPhone 4S is so high, some analysts expect Apple to sell up to 28m units in the last quarter of 2011. Verizon, and AT&T have all sold out their pre-sale supplies for now. Sprint is expected to sell a ton of iPhone units too. From all this information, it does look iPhone 4S may be the fastest selling iPhone ever.
iPhone 4S may have the same design as its predecessor. But there are slight differences between the two devices. Multiple sources are reporting that iPhone 4 cases do not exactly fit iPhone 4S. This is mainly due to the buttons on the right side of iPhone 4S moving. Of course, there will be cases that will work for both devices but not every old iPhone 4 case will work.
