So much for Apple trying to keep the specifications for the new iPhone secret. T-Mobile Germany seems to have dropped the ball by revealing what Apple tried to keep from us consumers. Wired.com reported the story yesterday only for T-mobile to take down the original specifications and replace them with something more general. But the cat is out of the bag.
The 600 MHZ processor is a decent upgrade over the previous generation iPhone. And who can forget about the extra RAM. So maybe that’s why iPhone 3G (S) comes with “speed.” The new iPhone 3G S has a lot going for it, but I still believe that it’s not worth upgrading to unless you are eligible for an upgrade or you are getting your first iPhone. And if this information is not enough, you can wait till the new phone ships. There is always someone out there who’s going to take this gadget apart piece by piece.
