We have heard a whole lot of rumors about the future of the iPhone. There will be a lot of features added to the 3rd generation iPhone. But the most impressive one is the addition of video recording capability that literally transforms our iPhones to Flip camcorders. iPhone 3 will not only allow you to record decent video but it will let you edit your videos on the device as well (similar to Flip Camcorder). According to BusinessWeek, Apple has been working on a mobile edition of iMovie which makes managing videos on the iPhone easier:
Evidently, shooting video is as easy as it is with a Flip, the ingenious device made by Pure Digital (recently purchased by Cisco). Then there’s an iMovie app that lets you quickly save the sections you want, right there on the phone itself.
I have a hunch that iPhone and YouTube are going to be great partners in the future. The field of mobile video is expanding fast. And with iPhone finally offering video recording capability, more people are going to take advantage of their phones to make user-generated content. It would be more convenient for these folks to have the ability to upload their videos to YouTube and other video sites easily. There are a lot of rumors going around about iPhone 3.0 but one thing is for certain. These latest wave of rumors are music to the ears of vloggers and mobile video producers.
