The iPad Pro is a pretty awesome tablet for designers, artists, professionals, and everyone else for that matter. It is not going to last you forever though. The bad news is it is not easy to repair. iFixit has published its iPad Pro teardown, giving the device a repairability score of 3 out of 10. The tablet has a 12.9″ LCD display, 3rd gen A9X chip with M9 motion coprocessor, and various sensors.
The good news is the battery is not soldered to the logic board and can be removed fairly easily. The bad news is the fused front panel makes screen repairs more costly. You also have to deal with tons of adhesive that hold everything together. The smart connector port is not replaceable either.
