Apple is going to announce the new iPhone soon. Many folks are excited about that product. But the iPad mini is going to be in demand as well. Apple has waited a few years to release a smaller iPad. Till now, the company probably did not have any good reason to make smaller iPads. The rise of budget tablets such as the Kindle Fire and Nexus 7 may have forced Apple’s hand.
Most experts have come to believe that Apple will release the new iPad mini some time in October. The device will have a 7.85 inch screen. It won’t have a drastically different design than the current iPad. The recent leaked pictures from Chinese website digi.163 do seem to match the rumors surrounding this device.
The above photo shows the all new smaller dock connector for Apple devices.. Interestingly enough, the placement of the headphone jack in these photos does not match up with the recent iPad mini rumors. At this point, it is hard to say whether these photos are 100% real. We are going to have to wait a month or so to get our hands on this gadget.
