iPad 3 Gen Unboxing, FaceTime Over 4G Not Possible?
0The wait for the new iPad is over. Apple will officially launch this new tablet today. Those of you who pre-ordered it online early on should be getting your tablet today. You can also try to get yours from an Apple Store near you. But you will have to wait a bit in line to get that done. The new iPad does have many similarities with the iPad 2. The form factor has not changed over time for iPad tablets. Apple is not going to change the winning game while it’s having so much success.
The new iPad does have a better processor, much improved display, higher quality cameras, and an enhanced battery. It offers quad-core graphics even though the A5x processor is only a dual core one. You do get 1 GB of RAM on these slates which should help them run most apps smoothly. It is interesting to note that the new iPad does have a lower pixel density in comparison to the iPhone 4S. But it is close enough for Apple to call its display a retina one.
Unboxing videos for the new iPad have started being released already (your tablet won’t be as cool as what you see above). We have not seen anything surprising in them so far. Interestingly enough, the new iPad won’t allow for FaceTime over 4G. Apple has decided not to include that feature this time around. Apple fans will have to wait a bit longer to get that capability on their tablet (no timeline is provided).
