We have heard a lot of rumors about Apple being interested in getting rid of the home button on iPads. Could it be that Apple has finally pulled the trigger on this move on the iPad 3? How else can one explain the graphic in Apple’s media invitation for the iPad 3 launch event?
Maybe this image shows an iPad upside down. We would like to believe that Apple did this on purpose. Either way, it will be interesting to see if this move becomes a reality on March 7th. This image has generated a lot of buzz on the internet, which will only help Apple. Chances are this is a genius promotional ploy by Apple to generate even more buzz for the iPad 3. If this tablet is to get Siri integration, it will most likely need a home button. But Apple has surprised us in the past.
What’s your take? Do you think the iPad 3 won’t have a home button?
