There is a good reason some tech experts stay away from newly released gadgets, at least at first. Almost every-time, you can expect new gadgets to have some issues. Apple products are no different. iPhone and iPod have had their issues in the past. We have beaten the antenna-gate issue’s horse to death already. iPad 2 is having a few issues of its own.
iPad 2 seems to suffer from the yellow screen issue. We first saw this issue in our iPhone 4 a few months back. Also, some iPad 2 units have light leaking problems at this point. The first problem may look serious on paper. But from our experience from iPhone 4, this could get fixed after a short-while. It could be a glue related issue once again. At this point, Apple has not acknowledged the light leaking issue. Other than reducing the brightness on your tablet’s screen, we are not sure there is an easy solution for this.
iPad 2 is being used by thousands of people to read e-books. The new iPad has a shiny screen and the glare most e-book lovers have come to hate. To be fair, Apple has not focused on improving iPad 2’s screen dramatically this time around.

Many consider iPad 2 to be a minor upgrade over iPad 1. Still, a large number of folks have already picked up their tablets. Apple fans who have not ordered their iPad 2 already will have to wait a couple of weeks to get their hands on their tablet. Now that’s inconvenient.
