iOS 7 is a brand new software, so it is not too surprising to see folks discovering bugs in it. Some iPhone users are reporting that iMessage has issues with iOS 7. What seems to be a bug is keeping messages from being sent or received. A few other folks are reporting that iMessages are not being converted to SMS texts.
Apple will surely address these issues in the future. But Apple Support community members have already come up with a quick fix. As user KalebsDad78 has suggested, you can fix this issue by resetting your phone’s network settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings).
That’s not the only issue people are having with iOS 7. Some are reporting that the iTunes Store app crashes in iOS 7. iPhone in Canada has suggested you can fix this issue by blocking cookies from third parties and advertisers. Some have had success by launching iTunes from the Music app. If all fails, you should consider resetting your phone or waiting for Apple to address this issue.
