In case you missed it, Apple has a brand new iOS update for your device. Apple usually fixes minor bugs with these small updates. iOS 6.1.3 is no different. It fixes a bug that could allow hackers to bypass the passcode and access your phone. iOS 6.x has been around for a while but has had some annoying bugs. The one this update fixes allowed anyone with physical access to your phone to access to photos, contacts, and phone functionality.
This is a must-download patch for everyone, except for those of you who have jailbroken your device recently. Apple seems to have fixed 6 bugs in total. It even gives the team behind Evasi0n credit. At this point, there is no simple way to update to iOS 6.1.3 and jailbreak your phone. So you may want to hold off if you rely on jailbroken apps to get things done on your smartphone.
The iPhone is a pretty powerful smartphone on its own. You could always enhance its functionality by adding more sensors to it. CubeSensors are handy devices that measure temperature, humidity, noise, and even air quality and send that information to your phone. These Cubes stream data to the cloud, so you can easily access them conventionality.
CubSensors are not exactly cheap but provide you with useful information on your environment. They are small and cordless. The starter package with 2 Cubes costs $249. You will have to wait summer of 2013 to get yours.
