In the past few months, Apple has added a lot of new features to iOS (such as multi-tasking and improved mail). As expected, iOS 4.3 will further improve iOS devices. We have known for quite some time that Apple iPad 2 will have front and rear cameras. A snapper app in iPad 4.3 has all but confirmed that. Most experts expect these cameras to come with 5MP and 2MP resolutions.
iOS 4.3 beta also supports new 4 and 5 finger gestures. A pinch is all users will need to bring up their home screen. Users can swipe up or down to reveal and hide the task bar. Switching between apps can be done by swiping left or right. These new gestures should allow iPad owners to become even more productive on the “go.”
With Verizon announcing its own iPhone just a short while ago, many fans were excited to see the company allow “hotspot capability” on Verizon iPhone. iOS 4.3 will have a personal hotspot feature. That means all iPhones will have this feature as long as iPhone carriers don’t object to it. iOS 4.3 is rumored to launch in March 2011.
While other tablet makers spend time to outdo Apple iPad, Apple is working hard to improve its iOS. iOS 4.3 won’t be perfect but it sounds like a decent step forward.
