It has been some time since Instagram got its last update. But the app for iOS has gotten better and faster with the latest update. The app now has a revamped profile tab. Users can now search for others and tags in the Explore tab. Commenting within the app has been improved as well. It is not a surprise that users will be able to share their likes on Facebook.
The updated Instagram app is now faster. It has gotten some visual improvements too. User search has become more convenient with its auto-complete feature based on the people you know. Instagram version 2.5 does seem to load photos faster on our iPhone which is always nice. It will be interesting to see where Instagram goes from here.
Speaking of updates, iOS 6 beta 2 is now available to Apple developers. It adds a number of new features. Shared Photo Streams, and a new TweetSheet in the Siri UI have been added (with a new Twitter icon). This update does seem to include bug fixes and minor improvements for iOS. Syncing Reading List over 3G is now available through the Cellular settings page. Guided Access (kiosk mode) is now working too. This is a 300 MB update.
