iCloud.com Goes Live (w/ Video)

Check out these uniquely awesome ✔️ iPhone gadgets & gizmos

Apple has not only been making its gadgets more powerful, it is putting more pieces of the puzzle together to offer its customers a richer user experience. Apple’s highly anticipated iCloud.com site has gone up and is available for beta testers. As reported by Wired.com, iCloud.com also has beta versions of iWork and iPhoto for iOS.

iCloud.com will be the cloud storage for your data. It will make it easier for iPhone, iPad, and Mac users to access their data across all their devices. iCloud can be configured on Windows machines too. Let’s face it. Most folks will use this service to backup their data. Apple is offering iCloud accounts for free with 5 GB storage. You can pay $20 a month for 10 GB storage (comes down to $2 per each additional GB). Here is a video demonstration of this service (by IGN):

Your purchased music and e-books won’t be included in your storage quota. From the screenshots and video above, iCloud does seem to have an iOS like interface. It is still a work in progress (clearly in beta). iCloud is very affordable for what it offers and is expected to launch to the public in September.
