Your iPhone may be a great gadget. It is not designed to be waterproof. If you drop your phone in some water (e.g. your toilet), you could very well end up with a dead phone. Leaving your phone to dry is the safest approach. What you don’t want to do is charge your phone before it is dried or use a hairdryer for the job. The folks at Better Bathrooms have put together an infographic that gives you an idea what to do if you have dropped your iPhone in the water.
