Hairware: Control Apps By Playing with Your Hair

Smart wearable devices get a lot of attention these days. But we are going to see even more innovation in this field in the upcoming years. Take Hairware for instance. Invented by Katia Vega, Hairware consists of conductive hair extensions that allow you to record a conversation, send location info, or even take a selfie by touching your hair.

Hairware is a capacitive touch sensor that detects touch variations and uses machine learning algorithms to recognize user’s intention. With a solution like this, you will be able to interact with your smartphone in a more discreet fashion.
