We had the pleasure of covering the GoPano lens for iPhone a while ago. It is a handy lens that enables iPhone users to take 360 degree interactive videos on their phone. The lens started its journey as a Kickstarter project but the success has continued since then. The good news is iPhone 5 users won’t have to feel left out. The GoPano Micro for iPhone has been announced and will start shipping on December 25.
The GoPano Micro records everything around you. That means you will be able to go back to your video, change angles, and see things from different perspectives. Once you have prepared your video, you can upload it to GoPano’s web platform and share 360 videos with others. The iPhone 5 kit also ships with a second GoPano case for iPhone 4S and 4. It will set you back $59 though.
Speaking of cool add-ons for iPhone, the Zensorium Tinke is a little gizmo that enables iPhone users to monitor their wellness and fitness. The device tracks your heart rate fast. It also shows your respiratory rate, blood oxygen level, and heart level variability. The Tinke uses optical sensing technologies to keep track of blood changes and help you address minor health problems before they become anything major.
This little gizmo has its uses for fitness too. It offers cardiorespiratory monitoring, so you can work on your fitness without putting your health in danger (Vita index). Then there is the Zen index which helps quantify your stress level. You will have to part ways with $119 to get one of these.
