We have known for quite some time that Apple plans to introduce a mini version of the iPad. When we look at the state of the tablet PC market at this point, the timing seems to be right. Most experts expect Apple to make the announcement in the next couple of weeks. But some sites have already started listing iPad mini cases. iGear is not planning to wait till October 17th to start promoting its cases. It has leather cases for the iPad mini up for grabs for $69.99 each.
iGear’s Mini iPad case is made of 100% soft brown leather and lets you set up the tablet in 3 different angles. The magnetic clasp will hold your device. It does sound quite strange covering a case for a product that has not been announced yet though. If all things go according to the plan for Apple, the new iPad mini should debut in a couple of weeks. But you may want to wait before start pre-ordering cases and other add-ons for the tablet.
The iPad mini accessories will have to wait. But the Duo Gamer controller for iPad devices is well worth checking out. It is a controller which connects to any iOS device via Bluetooth. It comes with an extra stand to make your iPad gaming sessions more convenient. The Duo Gamer features two analog joysticks, d-pad, four buttons, and two triggers. It is compatible with Gameloft’s shooter, racing, and adventure games (Asphalt 7: Heat, Brothers in Arms 2: Global Front, and N.O.V.A. 3 are just a few of them). The bad news is the device limits you as far as the titles you can play with it. Let’s hope support for games are added to it.
