Consumers: They want iPhone not AT&T
0AT&T’s days of having iPhone all to itself are all but over. We are only a couple of months away from Verizon iPhone’s launch. AT&T has been a somewhat decent partner for Apple, giving the company the chance to turn iPhone to what it is today. Unfortunately for AT&T, consumers believe that Apple could have gotten the job done regardless of AT&T’s involvement. A new survey has shown that over one third of smartphone buyers (not with AT&T) wish they could have owned an iPhone.
ChangeWave’s latest report indicates that iPhone has a high level of customer satisfaction. More than 3 out of 4 iPhone owners are satisfied with their device, something that can not be matched by other smart-phones. Interestingly, 46% of smart-phone buyers showed some sort of buyer’s remorse, wishing they could get their hands on iPhone instead of their current phone.
iPhone 4 has been getting a lot of flak from the media. Sites such as Consumer Reports have refused to recommend the device. Yet, ChangeWave’s research shows that iPhone 4 is doing just fine among consumers with 84% of buyers being very satisfied with their device.
Some media sources have decided to blow every single iPhone issue out of proportion. The iPhone is not a perfect device, but it offers its owners a lot of value for their money. There is a reason Consumer Reports has it ranked as #1, even though it does not recommend it.
