Netbooks are decent gadgets. But they have been upstaged badly by Apple iPad. The iPad can not only offer a lot of features that one can get from netbooks, it can also be turned to a netbook with a laptop-style case. The device supports bluetooth keyboards, so those who do not like using their iPad as just a tablet can always add a keyboard at the bottom and use their device that way. Clamcase is an exciting case that makes it possible to do just that. It’s a versatile case that combines a stand and a keyboard to offer a netbook-like experience to iPad owners.
Those who have blogged from their iPad without using a keyboard probably know how inconvenient it can get after a while. That’s why we will probably see more keyboard/stand/case hybrid accessories for iPad in the future. ClamCase does look very sleek, but there is no word when case will be released to the market. At the time of writing this, ClamCase’s website was down as well (clamcase.com). Maybe the demand is too high for them to handle already?
