ChargeCard, POP Portable Chargers for iPhone

Your iPhone may have a decent battery life but it won’t go on forever. Those of you who plan to spend a considerable amount of time on the road are going to need a decent charger for it. The ChargeCard is an exciting solution that lets you charge your iPhone using a USB port. It has a very compact design and looks very similar to a credit card.

The ChargeCard looks like a credit card with a USB connector. It is slim (0.1″ thick) and fits in your pocket. You can use this anywhere as long as you can get your hands on a USB port. This works with USB ports on TVs, laptops, desktop PCs, and everything in between. The ChargeCard is made from ABS plastic and has a foldout USB arm.  The product looks quite useful for constant travelers. The project is being currently funded on Kickstarter.

The ChargeCard is a very exciting product but it does require you to have access to a USB port to work. Those of you who are going to be away from the grid for a while should consider picking up a charger like the POP. It is a high capacity portable charger and has retractable cords. It will power iPhone, iPad, and Android devices.

The POP looks pretty decent and has a rechargeable 25k mAh battery that can charge up to 10 iPhones. It has 4 retractable cord reels (w/ iPhone and mini-USB adapters) and is compatible with the Kindle Fire, Android, and other handheld devices. For $149, the POP charger shows a lot of promise. Another Kickstarter project to be exciting about.
