Many folks can’t wait to get their hands on Apple’s TV sets. It just happens that Apple is not selling one yet. While Apple executives have hinted at the project happening behind the scenes, the project remains in very early stages. At least that is what the Wall Street journal is reporting. The project is in the testing phase, which means Apple has not made it formal yet and could drop it in the future.
Apple is currently working with Sharp and Foxconn to test possible designs for this device. Tim Cook did talk about the TV market and its future last week. Many of us assumed he was hinting at Apple making its own TVs. But the company could have completely different plans. If Apple has any serious plans for a TV set, we will most likely hear more about it in 2013. At this point, it is too early to tell.
Of course, you don’t need to have a TV to get the most out of your content on iPhone. The iPhone may not have a 3D screen. But you could always use the Hasbro MY3D Viewer to consume 3D games, videos, and apps on your iPhone and iPod Touch. You can charge and sync your iPhone without removing it from this viewer. In order to enjoy 360 degree content on your device, you need to just insert it into your 3D viewer. It will only work with specially formatted content though.
The Hasbro MY3D Viewer is affordable and makes consuming 3D content on your device easy. It won’t work with all apps and games though. The viewer is not compatible with the iPhone 5 at this point.
