Apple launched a couple of new phones just recently. It will surely sell millions of them before the next iPhone is released onto the market. Apple’s new earnings report is coming up, so we will soon know how well the company has been doing. The company did sell 9m iPhones during their launch weekend. That included sales number of both new iPhones. The report will be announced on October 28. It will be interesting to see whether Apple has done enough to keep investors happy.
Regardless of how many iPhones Apple sells, Google Android phones will still remain popular. Android is a very popular platform but it does have a few weaknesses that keep folks from adopting it. According to Eric Schmidt, security is not one of them. Mr. Schmidt has claimed that Android is more secure than the iPhone at the Gartner Symposium/ITxpo. Of course, it is always easy to claim things without backing them up. In the case of Android, the number of malware attacks continue to grow, so Google will have to keep working.
