The Apple TV is already a lovely product to use to enjoy Netflix and TV programming at home. While we have heard many rumors about Apple building its own HDTV in the past few years, the company has not announced one yet. DigiTimes, which is not always the most accurate source, is now reporting that Apple is talking with Foxconn about building a TV set. It will be an Ultra HD TV with a 4K display.
Manufacturing such a TV does require Apple to find the right partners for the job. 4k panel makers may not be handle the demand if Apple’s TV goes very popular. LG Display seems like the most logical option but we probably won’t see Apple’s TV sets until 2014. How much these TVs will cost? Considering that Apple is still a premium brand and Ultra HD TVs are somewhat expensive, you should expect to pay a considerable amount of money for the iTV.
Apple is working on TVs, smart-watches, and maybe even iGlasses. We may not see all of those this year. But we are going to see a new iPhone. The device is expected to have a faster processor, improved display, and more RAM. Will the iPhone get a major redesign? That is not clear. The above iPhone 6 concept by Abel Verdezoto I shows a polished and shiny device with an even larger display. The power button is on the left side. The idea looks promising but Apple’s iPhone 6 will most likely look very different.
