Apple has achieved huge success with iPhone regardless of what experts think of its Verizon iPhone 4 launch. Apple iPhone is still one of the hottest handsets on the market. Many companies have tried and failed to come up with a device that could kill or halt iPhone’s momentum. These companies will have an even tougher time competing with Apple if an iPhone nano is released to the market. As reported by Forbes, Apple COO seems to have all but confirmed Apple’s future plans for cheaper iPhones.
According to Tim Cook, Apple may be changing its course to make its products attractive not just to the rich. Will Apple be undermining its powerful brand by such an approach? It depends on how cheap iPhone Nano will be. Apple does need different versions of iPhone to give shoppers more options. It is also good to hear that Apple is serious about carrier expansion.
iPhone Nano may be smaller and cheaper than its big brother, but it is iPhone 5 that most people are excited about at this point. The device is expected to have a faster processor, better cameras, an improved antenna, and even more technologies inside. If the leaked picture by 9to5Mac is legitimate, iPhone 5 will have a larger screen too. iPhone 5 is rumored to have a thinner bezel on all sides, providing its owners with more room to take advantage of. A gesture-based unlock screen could make it to iPhone 5 as well.
With iPad 2 being announced tomorrow and iPhone 5 already in the works, Apple should keep its momentum for the foreseeable future. Now can we get a larger iPad already?
