Apple’s Black Friday Deals: Macs, Tablets, ..

Apple’s Black Friday deals are finally up. Apple has discounted MacBooks, iPads, iPods, and iMacs. Apple announced the start of its Black Friday sales event by adding a “the day you have waited 364 days for” banner to its site. iPad shoppers can save up to $61 on a new iPad 2 depending on the model the go with. iPod Touch units are getting a similar type of discount.

• iPad 2: as much as $61 on the most expensive model
• iPod Touch: up to $41 off
• iPod Nano: $11 discount
• iMac: $101 off on all offered models.
• MacBooks (including Air): $101 off offered models.

Apple is notorious for not discounting its products often. But it is nice to see the company get involved in the Black Friday sales event. The state of the economy is not exactly great, which could be one reason for Apple doing this. Even those who can’t afford to get a new MacBook or iPad can get discounts on accessories for some of these devices.
