The iPhone 5s is the fastest phone that Apple has released to date. It may have the same design as the previous model but ships with better hardware, a fingerprint scanner, and support for 64-bit apps (thanks to the all new A7 processor). The iPhone 5s starts shipping this Friday but developers can already submit their own 64-bit apps for it.
This does complicate things a bit for developers but Apple is going to make the process easy. Developers will be able to use Xcode to build apps with both 32-bit and 64-bit binaries. The A7 processor is pretty fast and powerful, so expect even more sophisticated apps to be released for iOS 7 in the upcoming months.
Speaking up new iOS devices, Apple has plenty of ads to encourage people to go and buy a new phone. This time around Apple has more options than ever (though the iPhone 5s is the best option). As multiple sites have reported, TV ads for iPhone 5s and iPhone 5C have been leaked to the Internet. These ads are colorful and fun but we will have to wait and see how well these new iPhones perform.
