4.7 iPhone in August, 5.5 Inch in September? Apple Buying Beats Confirmed
0The iPhone 6 is going to be here in the next few months. We have heard all kinds of rumors about the device recently. Many experts believe Apple is planning to offer the new iPhone in two different sizes — 4.7″ and 5.5″. If that is indeed the plan, Apple won’t be releasing them at the same time. Economic Daily News is now reporting that Apple will unveil its 4.7″ iPhone in August. A 5.5 inch model will be released in September.
This remains a rumor but not a shocking one. Apple needs to do something to keep some momentum in the smartphone market. The introduction of iOS 8 with Healthbook and iWatch will help. Two new shiny phones with large displays will allow Apple to reach even more homes. Not surprisingly, Apple does not confirm any of these rumors.
Speaking of rumors, Apple is rumored to be close to acquiring Beats Electronics for $3.2b. The purchase is not finalized at the time of this writing but a Facebook video by actor Tyrese Gibson suggests it is all but done. The acquisition gives Apple a high-profile brand in the music industry. It could also help the company in the music streaming space. The deal is expected to be announced very soon.
